Maple Sugaring Workshop for Homeowners

Do you have a few maple trees on your property and would like to know how to tap them for sap?

This workshop will go over everything you need to know to get started, from how to identify a maple tree in winter, which trees you can tap, the equipment needed and how to process the sap into your own delicious maple syrup.

Bring a drill with a 7/16” bit if you have one, but all equipment will be provided if you do not.

You will leave with a booklet of information and a kit to tap 5 trees right away.  We will practice tapping the trees in Big Hill Park during the workshop.

Cost for the workshop is all inclusive.

Register by February 23.   This workshop is limited to 12 participants.
