Tasket Basket – A Basket Weaving Workshop

Saturday, February 20, 2016
9:00am – 3:00pm at Welty Environmental Center,
1201 Big Hill Ct. Beloit, WI
This class is open to anyone interested in learning to weave a basket.
Cost for the class will be $ 40.00
RSVPs must be accompanied by payment for the class. Your check (payable to Welty Environmental Center) MUST BE RECEIVED BY Welty, 1201 Big Hill Ct. -Beloit, WI 53511 NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, JANUARY 29, 2016
All basket materials will be provided, but please bring the following tools: a pair of sharp utility scissors, a ruler, about 15 clip clothespins, pencil, an old towel, plastic pail or dishpan, a spray bottle, and a flat screwdriver or awl.

Coffee and morning snacks will be provided.
Please bring your own lunch and beverage.
Proceeds go to support environmental education at the Welty Environmental Center.

This program is geared toward adults, but interested teens are welcome too.
