Welty Wednesday – Frog LegsPicture 1030

 

Join us for summer mornings of stories, hands-on nature activities and games, crafts and a snack.

Today we’re on the hunt for amazing amphibians!  Frogs and toads lead part of their lives in the water, part on land, and always have to return to water to lay eggs.  Check out their amazing life cycle, learn their calls, and go on a frog hunt today.  After our outdoor adventure we’ll have a frog-themed snack, and make a cool frog craft to take home.  It’ll be fun – I “toad” you so!!

Ages 5-10 years can come on their own, and children 4 years and under are welcome when accompanied by a caregiver.  This program is a gentle introduction to the natural world.

Cost is $8 for Welty members or $10 for nonmembers, and $5 for all our friends 4 years old and younger.
