Friends of the Welty Environmental Center Membership and Volunteer Annual Appreciation Event

The Welty Environmental Center is able to bring hands-on environmental education to over 6,000 people throughout the Stateline area every year, and we could not do this without YOUR support!  We want to thank you for all you do throughout the year with an end of summer celebration.  Come out to the pavilion at Beckman Mill County Park with the whole family.  We will be roasting hot dogs for our main course in the picnic supper, making s’mores, and enjoying the park and each other’s company.  Bring a friend that you have always wanted to introduce to Welty.  Lena will be leading hikes through the savanna, wetland boardwalk and wooded trail.  Lawn games will be available to help you enjoy the evening even more.  Bring your calendar to write down all the fun events that are coming up this fall too.  Picnic tables are available, but you may want to bring folding chairs as well.  This event is free!
