Fun Fridays: Tech in the Park
Not all screen time is bad for kids! Join us for a day of scientific exploration, using high (and low) tech digital tools that help scientists worldwide collect and share their discoveries.
Participants will work together in teams to collect data at Big Hill Park using digital microscopes, thermometers, light meters, and GPS, then share their findings with the group. Spend a day doing field work, just like actual geologists and biologists!
For children 6-12 years.
Admission to programs is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make sure all required forms are properly completed and returned with full payment. You can return the filled-out application with a check or credit-card number, or you can pay in person at the center.
