Fun Fridays: What Lies Beneath: Understanding our Groundwater
Now, more than ever, our water resources need to be taken care of for future generations. Learn about where our drinking water comes from and how the rocks beneath our feet influence our whole water supply. Find out what actions you can take to keep our drinking water clean. Using groundwater models and looking at some of the geology in the park, we will gain a better understanding of how our activities affect the flow of water from deep underground.
For children 6-12 years.
Admission to programs is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make sure all required forms are properly completed and returned with full payment. You can return the filled-out application with a check or credit-card number, or you can pay in person at the center.
