NATC Pressed Plant Journals 6.13.19

Help your budding naturalist expand their plant identification skills with a pressed plant journal. We will go on a short hike to gather specimens and then learn how to press them.

Supplies to bring:

  • Specimen bag or basket
  • Several sheets of unlined acid free paper
    • (If you are not concerned about LONG TERM preservation, unlined copy/printer paper will work just fine.)
  • 2 pieces of cardboard cut to size of paper
  • Small notebook for taking notes
  • Pencil
