NATC Stream Teams will be collecting baseline data multiple times over the summer at Turtle and Kelly Creeks–come once or several times to discover what the data will tell us about health of these waterways.  This workshop will focus on what the presence of macroinvertebrates says about water quality.  We will construct and place Leaf Packs in the water to collect specimens that we will track throughout the summer.  What effects will three months of sun, rain, wind, and human activity have on stream health?

Bring waders or boots if you have them, waders will also be provided for use.
