Themed Day Camps: Conservation Warriors, Water Ecology Camp
If you like to spend time in the water investigating the amazing variety of plant and animal life found in our local waterways, join us for a week of aquatic exploration! Explore the stream and river at Big Hill Park and spend a day at NATC wading the waters of Turtle Creek and Rock River, collecting and identifying macroinvertebrates and learning how water is a precious natural resource. Plan to get wet (and a little muddy) as we learn how human activities have a great influence on the health of our waterways and what we can do to keep our rivers clean.
Camp times are 9am-3pm, Monday-Friday.
For ages 6-12 years. Registration is for 5 days.
Contact info@weltycenter.org or call 608-361-1377 to register for this event.
Admission to programs is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make sure all required forms are properly completed and returned with full payment. You can return the filled-out application with a check or credit-card number, or you can pay in person at the center.
