Welty Fall Fest – Sunday Oct. 13

Welty Winter Fest | Pumpkin carving and moreBring the whole family out to Beckman Mill County Park for an afternoon of old-fashioned, outdoor fall fun!  Included in your admission fee is making life-sized scarecrows, carving festive jack-o-lanterns, pressing fresh apple cider, making dried flower arrangements, and guided nature hikes through the oak savanna restoration, wetland boardwalk and woods trail.

Bakers are encouraged to bake a fruit or vegetable pie (no cream pies please) for judging.  You could win a membership to the Friends of the Welty Environmental Center!  Pies are sold by the piece after judging takes place at 12:30pm.  Please bring a list of ingredients in your pie for people with food allergies.

Concessions will be available for sale at the event as well.
