Owl Prowl and Pellet Dissection
Owls are fascinating birds that are active all winter long. In fact, they nest in late winter so it is a great chance to see activity.
We’ll start with an investigation of owl pellets inside to see how owls impact their ecosystems, and then go outside for a hike in Big Hill Park to try to observe some owls with calls.
Learn about our local owl species and how many might live in your neighborhood.
This program is family-friendly, though parents may need to assist younger children with the owl pellet dissection.
Call 608-361-1377 or email info@weltycenter.org for information and registration by February 22. Limit: 25 participants
