Welty’s 2021 Rock River 5K was a success!

Holy Cow–We roared to the Mississippi River and headed south towards Missouri this year! Because of all our fantastic participants, we clocked an impressive 570 miles (917 km) and raised $4060 to support Stateline environmental education.

What a great bunch of helpers we had, going 570 miles for this year’s virtual 5k!

…and raised $4060 to support Stateline environmental education!

And we are grateful to the support from these local businesses:  Allstate Insurance—Carroll Agency, Brennan Steil S.C., Brownfield Environmental, Even Start Family Literacy Program, Gilbank Construction, Henderson Law Office, Teachers Credit Union, and Zeeland Farm Services.

The fun’s not over yet (it never is). Keep an eye on Welty’s calendar, to see what other great public programs are coming up later this fall…like next week’s Turtle Creek SafariNo School Fridays, Full Moon hikes, and more!
